I love receiving thank you card, well who doesn’t
I received one in the mail the other day from Annie and Jake (you might remember their wedding a month ago and their trash the dress session.) I loved the card, it was perfect!

we loved the photo and kind words :)
(as a disclaimer, we don’t normally stand next to each other when we shoot, it just happened to be the time when Annie and Jake first saw each other that day and there is only so far you can go on a bridge
)
We also received an email from a fellow photographer friend Mike Brice who we ran into while shooting at the museum on Saturday, he sent us this…..

Because we are always behind the camera we don’t have many photos of ourselves, so we appreciate it, even if joe’s face is covered
lol
A few more kind words we like to share and let you know we truly appreciate them, we love what we do and put our heart and soul into this so we always love to know it is appreciated.
“we want to thank you and Joe, the pictures were absolutely wonderful, more than we ever expected. I showed a few people the slideshow, and they were just amazed at how the pictures captured the moments and people at the wedding were so impressed at how friendly and fun you guys were! The magic of the whole day can be re-lived through your great pictures.
Lisa”
“Carli!
Holy Goodness!! We love every single picture! You and Joe did an amazing job!
-Robin”
“
Carli,
I just wanted to thank you again for doing such an awesome job on the pictures of my girls! You are always so easy to work with, and I really appreciate the time and attention to detail that you obviously put into the work that you do. The fact that you come to us and photograph the kids in their own familiar environment makes it so much less stressful for me as a mom than to pack them (and all of their things!) up and take them to a strange studio. You capture real moments, of them just being themselves! Those are the types of memories that I will want to look back upon in the future. Thanks again and I know we will see you again soon, after all the kids are changing everyday and will need more beautiful photos to help and capture those fleeting moments!
Sincerely,
Amy (Bacon) Adams”
Thanks we love working with you all and allowing us to come into your life and make beautiful artwork of your special day and your beautiful children.

P.S. we have some very big news that we will be sharing very soon, so stay tuned!

Friday June 27th Katie and Mike tied the knot at St Stephens church in Toledo and had a beautiful reception at Cambridge Place on Alexis. It was pretty hot yesterday but their whole bridal party were troopers and went along for some outside photographs
It was a beautiful ceremony and a fantastic Arch of Sabers exit from the church. Katie looked Fabulous and Mike looked quite nice in his uniform. We had a lot of fun being a part of your wedding day, and from the looks of all your friends and family in photos, I think everyone had a great time
They were another one of our couples who saw each other before the ceremony, which worked out great because with only a 1/2 hour between the ceremony and reception they wouldn’t have had time to travel to any locations after the church
I wanted to put up a sneak peek before we head off to another wedding today
Enjoy!

We hope you enjoyed your sneak peek, we enjoyed being a part of your day!

On Thursday we traveled via the Jet Express to Put in Bay, South Bass Island for Kellen and Jason’s wedding. It was a small quaint affair, but it was beautiful. Although the weather was a little warm, the rain held off so they could have their ceremony by the water.
We had a great time and thank you for letting us be part of your special day.
Here is a sneak peek….. Enjoy!

Have a great reception back home in Illinois tonight and good luck on the move cross country

I have a sneak peek from the wedding, I loved photographing the two of them, you can tell how much in love they are by the looks in their faces every time they are around each other. Sarah looked fabulous as well as all of her bridesmaids (Doug didn’t look too bad either
)
Enjoy your sneak peek……

Thursday we met up with Annie and Jake (they got married on May 31st) and we trashed their dress. Annie loves photographs, they were one of our couples to see each other before the ceremony to allow more time for photography and she wanted more and some that she wasn’t willing to do on her wedding day
Here is a sneak peek, we had so much fun!

Can you see why she didn’t want to do some of these on her wedding day

These two are very similar but I love them both (and yes they were both done on purpose.)

Who’s next ?
Oh and all you seniors keep in mind we can do something like this with your prom dresses as well

Saturday we photographed Trisha and Kyle’s wedding at Brandywine Country Club. This was our first time working at Brandywine and we can’t wait to go back later this year
I loved everything about this wedding, the peacock feathers, the colors, the fact that Trisha, Kyle and all their family and friends were so much fun to be around. Their cupcake tower was deliciously appealing, her bright purple shoes were fun and we love when couples see each other before the wedding
I think Trisha looked stunning and I love how her whole face lights up when Kyle makes her laugh and vice versa.
We also had the pleasure of working with Class Act (which we love).
The cupcakes were from Buggy Whip Bakery.
And I recommend Brandywine as well, Autumn and the rest of their staff was a pleasure to work with.
Here is a sneak peek….. Enjoy!

I love the one in the middle of Trisha laughing
fav!

Oh and I forgot to mention they had a mariachi band during dinner

We hope you had a fantastic honeymoon!
As always we love blog comments

On 06.07.08 we photographed Heidi and Mark’s wedding in Marblehead, OH. We lucked out with beautiful weather and we were able to make a stop at the Marblehead Lighthouse park, where Mark proposed.
Heidi looked fabulous in her gown, the church was beautiful, Mark was handsome, the family and friends were radiant with love and support for these two, what else can you ask for on your wedding day
We had so much fun and we hope you are enjoying your honeymoon in Jamaica.
Here is a sneak peek….. Enjoy!

Thank you for letting us be part of your fantastic day

This past Saturday we had the privilege to photograph Annie and Jake’s wedding in Van Wert, OH. There were a few things that I loved about this wedding, one being that they saw each other before the ceremony which left more time for photos
Two they are high school sweethearts and I love that! I once read somewhere that high school sweethearts have a better record of success in marriage than any other kind. (But I suppose so do college sweethearts - right Joe ?!) They also had lots of little detail as I mentioned before I am a detail junkie
We had such a good time with Annie and Jake and all their friends and family, I even ran into someone I was friends with when I was young, which is always a nice surprise
Here is a sneak peek, enjoy!

Thank you for letting us be part of your day, and we can’t wait till your Trash the Dress Session
Comments = happiness (so give us happiness and leave a comment

Yesterday Joe and I traveled to Cleveland to photograph Robin and Danny’s wedding. I have been very excited for this wedding since we met last fall for their engagement session and really hit it off. They are both very artistic and Robin and I actually went to Bowling Green for fine arts at the same time although we never knew each other there
Then when I got this in the mail a little after the engagement shoot I was fully pumped….

From this save the date you could tell that they were going to be putting their artistic talents into their wedding and I love when people make the wedding their own.
Robin looked stunning and Danny was quite handsome. We had a fabulous time with them and their friends and family. Here is a sneak peek…..
Enjoy!
The girls got ready for the day with hair, makeup, and some wedding movies (and a little ora reading
). The guys always seem to have it a little easier than the girls and this wasn’t any different since the guys got to enjoy some wii before the ceremony

One of Robin’s friends sang during the ceremony and I am jealous of her beautiful voice, it was AMAZING!

I am a detail junkie and this wedding had my fix! Check all the stuff that Robin and Danny made and that I was in AWE of their talent. Here is only a few to name…. the flower (they are made from paper)… wreathes… all the mens ties, cufflinks… cake topper…. centerpieces… and the list goes on…. WOW is all I can say!

We had SO much fun, thank you for letting us be part of your day!
