Annie and Jake Trash the Dress……… :)

June 20, 2008

Thursday we met up with Annie and Jake (they got married on May 31st) and we trashed their dress.  Annie loves photographs, they were one of our couples to see each other before the ceremony to allow more time for photography and she wanted more and some that she wasn’t willing to do on her wedding day :)

Here is a sneak peek, we had so much fun!

Can you see why she didn’t want to do some of these on her wedding day :)

These two are very similar but I love them both (and yes they were both done on purpose.)

Who’s next ?   :)

Oh and all you seniors keep in mind we can do something like this with your prom dresses as well :)

Senior, Trash the dress

August 1, 2007

Trash the dress is a growing trend that is not just for brides anymore. I posted a while back about www.trashthedress.com where brides get in there wedding dress one more time after their big day and we do a whole shoot in poses you wouldn’t want to do on your wedding day, because you dress may get a little dirty. (I plan on doing this after our September wedding, I am so excited :) C. )

Well now trash the dress has become a growing trend with high school girls. You know that beautiful dress you wore for prom, why not wear it again and get some photos you will look back on and love the rest of your life. check out http://letsgettrashed.com/ to see what I am talking about.

Anyone interested in trashing the dress, whether you are a high school girl, or a bride send us an email at info@shutterlovestudio.com or give us a call at 419-654-0411

We are extending our special!!!!!! All for you!!!!

January 8, 2007

We had such a great response to our booth at the bridal fair that we decided to extend our bridal fair special for the whole month of January.    We had so many brides asking about dates but they needed to discuss it with their fiances first so we decided to make it easier on you all and extend our special so you didn’t feel so rushed.

If you book in the month of January you will receive 10% off of any package you choose.

We still have a number of days open for 2007 so give us a call and set up an appointment!

Save-the-Dates : ideas

June 20, 2006

There are so many creative ways to send save-the-dates to your guests.  I have posted a few options that I thought were cute and not too hard to do.

Save-the-dates are the first thing your guest will see to show them the style of your wedding, so make them personalized and have them reflect the theme and color of your wedding.

Why send a save-the-date? These are sent out before the invitations to inform the guest of the date and location of your wedding.  It is especially beneifical for out-of-town guests who will need to make travel plans.

What's on a save-the-date? You will want your names and wedding date printed on the cards along with the location (at least the city and state).  You can also include seperate information on hotels, airfare, any planned events and transportation in the envelope.  This way your guest will be able to arrange their travel plans and book hotels at the best rates possible.

Most importantly have fun with your Save-the Date.

We can also help you design a personalized save the date with photographs from your engagement session.

Below is an example of a design that we can do for you:

(for those who know Cindy and Brian this is not a real save the date for them it is just an example of some of the work we can do.  As you know they have not set a date yet.)

I have also included some examples of other ways that you can make save-the-dates if you don't want to go with photographs.
