On Saturday we also did Jodi’s Senior Session, she decided she wanted her photos done before her prom when she was all beautified. Doesn’t she look pretty ?! We went downtown for these and braved the rainy weather.

On Saturday Cortney and Eric had prom and asked us to come take some photos of them before prom because they both loved working with us from their senior photos.

Yesterday we photographed Eric for his senior photos. That’s right senior sessions are starting up and we are accepting appointments for the class of 2009
We started with a few in studio but then Eric took us to a very cool location that we will be using in the future

I posted this a couple weeks ago but thought I would repost a reminder.
We are looking for senior reps for the class of 2009. Are you a Junior looking for senior photos that are different than the norm? Are you outgoing and willing to pass out some information to all of your other junior class looking for senior photos? Do you like free stuff ?

Some of the things a rep gets is a:
free session (has to be done in April or May, before school is out)
handouts that are personalize with your photos to hand to all your classmates
10% off all your orders placed off of this session
24 free wallet (I told you lots of free stuff)
Then any senior who comes in with one of your cards for a session receives 8 free wallets and you also receive more free stuff
And of course like for all of our seniors we will give you a select few photos so you can put on your myspace and facebook pages (all of our past seniors LOVE this!)
What are you waiting for, it involves your photos, your personality, your friends, and free stuff
We recommend anyone who want to do this is outgoing and loves to be in front of the camera
We are looking for a few senior reps who can get their photos taken in April or May.
What is a senior rep?
A senior rep is someone who gets their senior session with us and then passes out cards to friends and classmates with our information on it.
What does the senior get?
There is no session fee for our senior reps, and they receive 10% off any order they place and 24 free wallets. Also every senior that comes in that you refer you get your choice of one of the following: 8 wallets or 5 - 4×6 photos or 1 8×10
Also the seniors that come in with your card will receive a free set of 8 wallets.
How it works: After your session with us we design personalized cards with your photos on them for you to pass out to friends and classmate that will be needing senior photos.
The only thing you have to do is come for your session (in April or May) and make sure you pass out all your cards to every other seniors to be that you know
Contact us if you are interested, because we are only allowing one rep per school so the slots will fill up fast.

I was so excited today when I looked out on my porch and saw I had a package, and it was a big one (I love getting mail and packages so without even knowing what it was I was excited). When I saw that it was our new samples of our fine are canvases I was ecstatic.
So you might be asking yourself what are these fine art canvases.
They are a new product that we are offering starting this year. Fine Art Canvases are your photographs from your wedding, engagement session, family session, senior session, etc, put printed directly onto a Canvas. They are then professionally stretched onto a 1 1/2″ think wooden frame, like any fine piece of artwork (paintings) normally are.
Here are some photos of our new samples and let me know if you want to see them in person. If you are interested in getting one from a past session we will be glad to rerelease your session so you can pick which photo you want to have put on canvas.
The exciting package that started my day off in a good mood
This one is a 20×30″
This one is a 30×30″ and has multiple images and the birth-date and child’s name these are great to do with a new born and show off all those precious little body parts and facial expressions, because they grow so fast!
Since they stretch them I can add a child’s name on the side (example below) or the photo just continues onto the side which gives it a beautiful finish.
We have found that many people are afraid to hang large photos in you house, people tend to think an 11×14 is large. These are beautiful pieces and memories of your family don’t be afraid to show them off. When you come to a session or sit down to order photos or a canvas think about where you want to hang it. The photo below shows you how small the canvas looks on our wall, for a better impact we should have gotten a larger one and that canvas is a 20×40″ so it’s no tiny 8×10. We just want you to think about where your photo is going and what kind of impact you want to make. Large photos are truly pieces of art and should be treated as such (at least in my opinion )
Fine Art Canvases come in most sizes (starting at an 8×10) and we can even customize sizes if it needs to fit into a particular place.
Prices for the fine art canvases start at $150 and go up to $2000.

Saturday afternoon we had the pleasure of photographing Chelsey for her senior photos. We had a great time, first starting in studio for a few shots before heading out to her Opera couch’s beautiful house in the Old West End. Then we finished up at the Toledo Museum of Art around the sculpture garden
We had a great time and Chelsey is a gorgeous senior.
