Something new to the blog… interview with Haley from toledobaby.com

I have decided I want to bring a new aspect to our blog once a month or so.  I plan on interviewing local professionals in the area that have something to do with either weddings or children.  This is an attempt to help you all out by introducing some services around the area you might not have heard of or are thinking about using

You might recall there is the Toledo Baby Expo at the mall this weekend that we are sponsoring. Here is a little bit about Toledo Baby and Haley……..

Tell us a little about your business:
We put our heart and soul into one event per year - the Toledo Baby Child
and Family Expo!

How did you get started in this field?
The Toledo baby expo was originally a creative idea to find a
solution to an advertising problem a few of my clients were having (I’m a
graphic designer). When I proposed it to them - I never
expected to take it on myself! Sometimes things fall into place.

What is your favorite part of your job?
Meeting new people, networking, and finding creative solutions!

When someone comes into your shop or hires your services, what
should they expect?
That they will be taken care of - above and beyond what other
similar services may provide. I take the time to step back and think through
solutions.

What makes you different from other people in your field?
I do this because I love it - not because it’s a job or time I need to
fill.

What is one piece of advice you would give all your
clients/customers/readers?
Do what you love. I love working with clients who also love what they do. It
makes life so much more fulfilling!

Now a little about you

What is your favorite restaurant in Toledo?
Poco Piatti’s. MMmmmm. I love how you are invited to share and enjoy the
food with friends - and I love trying new things!

What is your favorite band or type of music to listen to?
I appreciate music since
I’m not musically inclined in any way. I can’t sing or play an
instrument. But I love culture - and all music reflects a piece of
someone.

What is your guilty pleasure?
Baking with my daughter - it’s an excuse to eat something sweet and
we have fun doing it.

What is one goal you have this year?
Be the best mommy I can be.

What is something people might be surprised to know about you?
I have a lot of food allergies - so I have to be careful with what I eat.

What is something you think is beautiful?
My daughter’s profile. Her face is a perfect combination of her daddy,
her mommy, and her unique self.

What is your best feature?
My cute pregnant baby belly.

What is the best advise you have ever received?
Have patience.

What is one question you would add to this for other professional to
answer?
Favorite travel destination?
