Love it!

July 2, 2008

I love receiving thank you card, well who doesn’t :)  I received one in the mail the other day from Annie and Jake (you might remember their wedding a month ago and their trash the dress session.) I loved the card, it was perfect!

we loved the photo and kind words :)

(as a disclaimer, we don’t normally stand next to each other when we shoot, it just happened to be the time when Annie and Jake first saw each other that day and there is only so far you can go on a bridge :P  )

We also received an email from a fellow photographer friend Mike Brice who we ran into while shooting at the museum on Saturday, he sent us this…..

Because we are always behind the camera we don’t have many photos of ourselves, so we appreciate it, even if joe’s face is covered :)  lol

A few more kind words we like to share and let you know we truly appreciate them, we love what we do and put our heart and soul into this so we always love to know it is appreciated.

“we want to thank you and Joe, the pictures were absolutely wonderful, more than we ever expected. I showed a few people the slideshow, and they were just amazed at how the pictures captured the moments and people at the wedding were so impressed at how friendly and fun you guys were! The magic of the whole day can be re-lived through your great pictures.

Lisa”

“Carli!
Holy Goodness!! We love every single picture! You and Joe did an amazing job!

Carli,

I just wanted to thank you again for doing such an awesome job on the pictures of my girls!  You are always so easy to work with, and I really appreciate the time and attention to detail that you obviously put into the work that you do.  The fact that you come to us and photograph the kids in their own familiar environment makes it so much less stressful for me as a mom than to pack them (and all of their things!) up and take them to a strange studio. You capture real moments, of them just being themselves!  Those are the types of memories that I will want to look back upon in the future.  Thanks again and I know we will see you again soon, after all the kids are changing everyday and will need more beautiful photos to help and capture those fleeting moments!

Sincerely,
Amy (Bacon) Adams”

Thanks we love working with you all and allowing us to come into your life and make beautiful artwork of your special day and your beautiful children.

P.S.  we have some very big news that we will be sharing very soon, so stay tuned!

Brooklyn = too cute :)

May 22, 2008

I went to Botanical gardens on Sunday to Photograph Brooklyn, who was one of the winners from the Toledo Baby Contest in April.  All I can say is she is too cute!

So here are the many adorable faces of Brooklyn….

Enjoy!

We also took a few photos with her new brother and I think these turned out adorable.  I think the way she is touching his head is precious and now one of my favorites.

Thanks for stopping by…

March 17, 2008

We wanted to thank everyone for stopping by our booth at the Bizzy Bee Baby and Toddler show yesterday at Tamoshanter. It was such a great show and it was nice to talk to all of you expecting mothers and mothers with young ones. There were so many cute kids running around the place and being pushed in strollers, not to mention the adorable dancers from FX studio.

We wanted to extend a huge thank you to the Birds and the Bees shop the put together the whole event, it was fabulous and I can’t wait until next year :)

Jackson’s first haircut

March 11, 2008

I got to tag along today to document Jackson’s first haircut since his mom couldn’t be there.

I went with Gubbi (grandma) and Jackson to Bella Hair and Nails at 8253 Lewis Avenue (where I actually go to get my hair cut with Bonnie, who does a fabulous job, as well as the other girls that work there so if you are looking for someone new check them out, 734-847-8190). They also do wedding and bridal party hair so if you are still looking for a salon give them a call.

Jackson was great he didn’t fuss or cry at all, he was a calm as can be and here are a few photos from his session at the hair salon.

What a cute clean cut little boy :)

Looking to document some of your child’s first moments schedule a session, we can even customize a package for you and do a day in the life session where I follow you and your child or children around a document for a couple hours and we can do appointments like this, or go to the zoo, etc. Contact us for more information.
