Lauren class of 2009 {toledo modern senior portrait photographer}

September 29, 2008

On Saturday I also photographed Lauren for her senior portraits, it was a ton of fun. Lauren had a lot of ideas that she came with which is great because that way these can show her personality.

Here are a few from the session…

Enjoy!

I had a little fun with this shot, I am not always a color spot girl but I liked how her nails and eyes matched :)

This is my favorite, and I loved the location, it took a little climbing, balancing and maneuvering to get there but I think it was worth it :)

comments always appreciated.

We had so much fun with Toni and Wayne with their engagement session last year and getting to know them through their planning process. It has been a true pleasure working with you both and we hope to continue our friendship throughout your marriage and when you have babies, because after seeing Toni with all the kids at her wedding you know she is going to make a fantastic mother :)

Thank you for letting us be part of your day. You both looked fabulous and so in love!

Have a great honeymoon :)

Smith Family {toledo family photographer}

September 22, 2008

Alright, half of us are not smith’s anymore but we did some family portraits the other week with my parents, sister, brother in law, and nephew and grandma. It is odd to be on the other side of the camera for some but we had a good time :) We will have to hire one of our photographer friends to do the family portraits next time because to get all of us in it we needed to use a tripod and a timer and it’s not the same :)

Here are a few photos of my family :)

I never thought my sister and I looked much alike until looking at the photo below :)

At some points the summer went too fast and others too slow :) But the love from my family and the bond we all have helps you celebrate the good and pick you up from the bad, and I am lucky to have the family I do and I know we can get through anything with the love and support of each other. Thank you!

NEW PRODUCTS!!!! new one of a kind products :)

September 17, 2008

We are beyond excited to be able to offer you a one of a kind product only offer here :)

One of our past brides is a fabulous artist and when we found out she paints portraits we had to check it out and they are spectacular!  We just had to offer them to our clients.  So now you can still get a regular photograph, a photograph printed on canvas and a one of a kind painting from one of our photographs.  She did a few samples from some of our work and they turned out beyond great!  You will have to stop in the studio to see them up close but here are a few images of them.

You can get a painting for only $75 more than a canvas photograph, they start at a 12×12 size for only $275, for this one of a kind, hand painted piece of artwork that is a great deal!  Just to clarify these are not photoshop manipulated to look like a painting they are actually painted by our beautiful and very talented former bride Robin.  You may remember her wedding where she made all her own tissue paper flower, etc.

These can be done from one of our past sessions or wedding or any of our future one.  What a great heirloom to have in the family for years and  years to come :)

Contact us is you want more information or if you would like to stop in and see some of the samples, they are fabulous!
