Sara and Tyler ~ May 26, 2007

May 30, 2007

This Saturday we got to photograph Sara and Tyler’s Wedding in McClure, OH.  We had a great time.  Luckily the weather held off during the outside photos and just enough time to get to the reception.

Sara looked absolutely beautiful and we had such a great time.  I haven’t even begun going through all the photos we took through out the day.  With the holiday weekend i actually took Monday off (days off don’t come often for me.)

Sara and Tyler, thank you for letting us be part of your day we had such a great time, hope you enjoy the sneak peek.

I love this one!

Their ring bearer Justin was so cute.

Doesn’t she look fabulous!?!?!?!!!!

The reception was a lot of fun, I just haven’t had a chance to post some from it yet, but I will soon!

Thanks again we had a great time!!!!!!!

Holy Cow, What a Wedding!!!!!

May 21, 2007

This Saturday Joe and I got the pleasure to shoot a wedding in Savannah, OH for Jamie and Nathaniel. This wedding was so much fun and I don’t think we will experience one like it ever again. It was on a family farm that has been in Nathaniel’s family for generations. When we first got there we so excited about how beautiful the land was then we finally got to meet Nathaniel and Jamie, because we only communicated with them through email, and they were so nice, laid back, easy to talk to and soooo much in love. You could just tell as soon as you met them that they were made for each other. Well I will let you view our day in photos, I will just let you know it included a beautiful ceremony, followed by cake, bouquet toss, cow herding (one got out of the gate), hiking, soccer, tree climbing and fire twirling, and so much fun!

Enjoy the sneak peek, there will be a lot!!!

Well according to all the “good luck” charms and myths, I believe they had all of them. Throughout the course of the day there were 4 4-leaf clovers found there were a couple spotting of blue birds (which I guess are a sign of good luck) and it rained (which is suppose to mean wealth in the marriage.) I don’t think there could be any more signs that these two should be together and that they will have a great marriage :)

Can you believe Jamie did her own hair? I was very impressed.

Their beautiful intimate ceremony

Their first kiss as a married couple :)

Everyone at their wedding.

A couple of the rings…

A little american gothic.

Favorite :)

Isn’t Jamie stunning!!! She looked so beautiful on Saturday!

Their cake, and the great way they cut it.

Nathaniel’s Grandma caught the bouquet.

Now that they are suited up for hiking…

Now for some cow herding :)

Some more wedding day fun :)

Some fire twirling. This was very cool!

The Groom:

Nathaniel’s Cousin and Cousin’s Girlfriend…..

Well that is all I can post right now, but we had a blast. It was so nice to meet you Jamie and Nathaniel and the rest of your family and friends. Thank you for letting us enjoy your wedding day with you. Also thank you Anne for recommending us to them.

Which font do you “love”?

May 18, 2007

We are working on sprucing up our logo because of all the new things we will be unleashing through our business this summer. Shutter Love is now my full time job, previously I worked a full time job and then put in full time hours with Shutter Love when I came home. Which resulted in a lot of stress. Well not that Shutter Love is my only full time job, I will get to start working on and presenting all of our customers with the fun, exciting new things that I have been wanting to work on. Stay tuned for those.

Right now though I would love to hear from all of you which font you like the best for our possible new logo.

This is the beginning stages but we value all of your opinions and want to hear them.

May 17, 2007

Well we just realized that anyone who contacted us from our website that the message field was not working.  Which means if you filled in the fields from our contact page on the website and asked me any questions in the message field I never got them.  We are so sorry and the problem now seems to be fixed, but I can not go back to past emails.  So in case if you asked us a question that we did not answer we are truely sorry and would love to answer it now, so just contact us at info@shutterlovestudio.com

Sorry about any inconvience this was, and we truely were not trying to ignore any questions or comments you might have had. Considering it looks like it has been that way since we got the new site.

Thanks for understanding.

LOVE.

Congrats Emily and Lenny and welcome to the world baby Colin

May 15, 2007

I don’t know if you all remeber about a month back I posted some maternity pictures of Emily and Lenny who were expecting their first child.  Well Colin graced us all with his presence on Friday May 11th, just in time for Emily to have her first mother’s day.

I went over on Monday to take a few photos, they are his 4 day old photos, and he was surprisingly wide awake.  We will schedule a lifestyle family shoot with them all soon.

He looks so much like his dad right now.

I love the little baby hands :)

He has no choice but to be a buckeye fan ;)

We love doing baby shoots.  One thing that works great about the way we do these sessions is that we come to you.  You don’t have to worry about packing your little one up and bringing him or her to us, we come to you.  And we set aside a good amount of time because we don’t mind taking a break for feeding or soothing.  We understand how hectic life can be with a baby and we want to make it as easy as possible on you as well as capturing all the moments from the beginning of their life.

If you are interested in a lifestyle session with your baby or other children give us a call or email us and we would love to set up a session.  419-654-0411 or info@shutterlovestudio.com

We don’t want you to miss a moment of their life.

Kelly and Matt’s Beautiful Wedding.

May 9, 2007

This past Saturday May 5th was Kelly and Matt’s Wedding.  Joe and I had a great time, the ceremony was St Pat’s of Heatherdowns, and the reception was at Gladieux.

Kelly was just beaming with happiness, she was so beautiful.

I started the day meeting up with all the girls at Dillards hair salon and the Clinique

counter for Kelly’s makeup.

Her dress had some beautiful detail.

Instead of boquets for the bridesmaids Kelly had them carry these purses with a beautiful flower tyed on.  I thought it was a great idea because then the girls can use them after the wedding as well.

Kelly on her way to the chapel.

After the ceremony there was a little bit of time before the reception so we took the wedding party over to wildwood for a few pictures and a little tailgating thanks to Kelly’s Matron of Honor Kendra and her husband Bryan.

Kelly received quite the star treatment that I believe all brides deserve :)

She even had Matt carrying her bouquet part of the time.

Kelly and her Matron of Honor Kendra.

She had some beautiful flowers.

I loved the simplicity of the design to their cake.

And it was fantastic, just looking at the picture below makes me want another piece.

The had a very beautiful first dance.

There were many more images, but we haven’t had a chance to go through them all yet.  We just wanted to post a sneak peek from Saturday, which ended up being a really long picture post because we had such a great time at their wedding.

Kelly and Matt’s Engagement

May 9, 2007

Last Monday April 31st we met Kelly and Matt for an engagement shoot.  Unfortunatly it was raining but they were troopers and toughed it out so we wouldn’t have to reschedule.

Here are some of the images from their engagement session.

We had a great time and although there were many many more images from the session, I din’t post too many because their wedding was this past Saturday the 5th and I have a lot to post.
