Trip to Virginia and D.C.

This weekend I went to Virginia for a wedding with these three sexy ladies.

I was a great trip we went into Old Town Alexandria for dinner on friday. Then we went into Washington D.C. for the afternoon on Saturday. I hadn’t been there since 8th grade so it was great to see a little of DC, even if it was a short trip.

And then we went to Ashley’s wedding Saturday evening which was the whole purpose of the trip. It was such a beautiful wedding. We’ve all known Ashley since 7th grade and have so many memories with her and I don’t think I have ever seen her happier. Here are a few pictures I snapped last night, I look forward to seeing the photographs from her wedding photographers because they seemed to do a wonderful job. Ashley and Tim I hope you have a fantastic honeymoon and I hope we can hang out next time you are in town. Congrats.

The cake was also beautiful, and it tasted great, expecially the chocolate peanut butter.

Then we got a photo of all of us girls from high school, my have we grown=)

Then I had to steal the bride for a picture just with me.

I honestly am not sure what they were doing in this photo but I had to post it anyways.

I want to thank Ashley, Tim and all of their families for such a wonderful evening, I know we all had such a great time and it was great to see all of Ashley’s family again.

Fun Family Shoot at Maumee Bay

Yesterday Amy and her Family allowed us to come and snap a few photos of them. What a nice family, they made us feel so comfortable and welcome. They were all so photogenic even if they don’t enjoy being in front of the camera.

We went down to Maumee Bay State Park it was such beautiful scenery which made great backgrounds. Here are a few photos from yesterday.

Pat and Steve were good sports with letting us photograph them as well.

Amy has a very handsom teenage son Eric and here are a few pictures of him before he grows up any faster because I am sure his mom can’t believe he is sixteen already.

And then there is beautiful baby Macy whom you can tell is very much loved by her family. It seemed that the face of who ever was holding her lite up as soon as she was in their arms and it is easy for me to see why being as cute and happy as she all evening.

Once again we had a great time with you all, it was a lot of fun and it was nice to meet you all. Thanks for a great time Amy, Troy, Pat, Steve, Eric and Macy. Also thank you for the wonderful meal the ribs and potatos were great.

Hicks Family Portraits

On Monday July 3rd we did a great family session with the Hicks. There were 13 people total,some from California, Tennessee, Columbus, OH and they all met up in Michigan. We were honored that they invited us to spend some time with them all. They are such a fun loving family and we had a blast taking pictures of them. We hope you enjoy.

There was so much beautiful scenery at their lake house, and luckily the weather held out for us that morning.

Brad caught a mini frog at the lake. It was tiny, I don’t think I have ever seen a frog that small before. It makes you think about how good kids eyes are and how much they are paying attention to their surroundings.

Thank you Chuck, Barb, Jennifer, Paul, Ben, Angie, Greg, Evan, Brad, Chad, Melissa, Grandma Elizabeth and Aunt Mary we had such a good time working with you all and hope we can do it again sometime.
