There are so many creative ways to send save-the-dates to your guests. I have posted a few options that I thought were cute and not too hard to do.
Save-the-dates are the first thing your guest will see to show them the style of your wedding, so make them personalized and have them reflect the theme and color of your wedding.
Why send a save-the-date? These are sent out before the invitations to inform the guest of the date and location of your wedding. It is especially beneifical for out-of-town guests who will need to make travel plans.
What's on a save-the-date? You will want your names and wedding date printed on the cards along with the location (at least the city and state). You can also include seperate information on hotels, airfare, any planned events and transportation in the envelope. This way your guest will be able to arrange their travel plans and book hotels at the best rates possible.
Most importantly have fun with your Save-the Date.
We can also help you design a personalized save the date with photographs from your engagement session.
Below is an example of a design that we can do for you:

(for those who know Cindy and Brian this is not a real save the date for them it is just an example of some of the work we can do. As you know they have not set a date yet.)
I have also included some examples of other ways that you can make save-the-dates if you don't want to go with photographs.
